FENACAM Federação Nacional das Caixas de Crédito Agrícola Mútuo, F.C.R.L., was set up on November 29, 1978, and its main missions are to represent Crédito Agrícola at a domestic and international level, promote the development of the associated Caixas and foster the creation of new branches, ensure that the principles and specific nature of the Crédito Agrícola cooperative system are adhered to, promote and publicize Crédito Agrícola, provide technical and training support for the Caixas Agrícolas and defend their interests in relation to other public and private entities.
