Praia D'El Rey Golf & Country Club, a 200-hectare golf and residential resort, is located just an hour's drive north of the capital city of Lisbon. Praia D'El Rey is much more than a golfer's retreat. It is a residential holiday resort. With 2.5km of beachfront, set in a beautiful and historic region of the country, it offers a range of sporting and leisure activities, sightseeing and good restaurants.

The Praia D'El Rey development has been designed to blend in with the unique natural beauty of the area and its rich cultural and architectural heritage. A good example of this is the care taken over the construction of the apartments and townhouses. They all faithfully reflect the dominant architectural features of western Portugal. Aldeia Real is composed of eight magnificent plots, with sizes ranging from 1,823 m² to 2,824 m², set between holes 2, 13 and 17, with commanding sea views.

Aldeia das Descobertas with 40 plots for sale
The "Aldeia das Descobertas", a residential village of 40 individual villa plots, is now on the market. Located to the right of the entrance to the resort, on wooded land near hole eight of the golf course, the new plots range from 475 m² to 808 m2 in size, the majority being between 500 m² and 700 m².

Work has already begun on the construction of "Aldeia das Caravelas", six apartment blocks with a total of 40 two and three-bedroom apartments, designed in the typical architectural style of the Western Coast of Portugal.

The average area of the two-bedroom apartments is 124.67 m², and with 174.32 m² for the three-bedroom apartments. Scheduled for conclusion at the beginning of 2005, the "Aldeia das Caravelas" is located next to the tennis centre, and is surrounded by woodland on one side and villas on the other side.

The natural environment of Praia D'El Rey is further enhanced by gardens and a central swimming pool.

Launched in June 2002, the closed condominium "Vila dos Príncipes" has now entered its third phase. Currently on sale are 44 townhouses with areas from 157 to 159 m² for two-bedroom units and from 179 to 186 m² for three-bedroom units.

"Vila dos Príncipes" is the first closed condominium at Praia D'El Rey and has 117 housing units, of which 101 are two-storey townhouses and 16 are apartments. The condominium's three swimming pools will be heated and all units will be pre - equipped with radiators for central heating and with Siemens home appliances.
