TAP, the Portuguese flag carrier for many decades, started operating in 1945. Its first commercial flight took off with the inauguration of the Lisbon/Madrid route the following year. With a fleet that is constantly being updated, TAP now provides the very latest in comfort. On the Airbus A310 and A340 fleet, the new seating in TOP Executive boasts individual video screens and 20 entertainment channels (A340), individual DVD players and 7 entertainment channels (A310), plus extra space, laptop plugs, back and headrests with 4 positions. Digital controls enable passengers to choose their ideal position and, thanks to the exclusive Italian design, to enjoy greater space and privacy.
